Dwayne Washington rushed six times for 22 yards on Sunday.
Washington was the clear backup to Ameer Abdullah, and was given a red zone carry in the season opener. Abdullah only had 30 yards on 15 carries, but he will lead the backfield for as long as he’s healthy. Washington isn’t a recommended fantasy option in Week 2 against the Giants’ stout defense.

Due to Hurricane Irma, the Buccaneers vs. Dolphins game will be played in Week 11 on Sunday, November 19, the NFL announced.
After weighing its options, the NFL decided this was the best decision. On one hand, the players don’t need to play a game with Hurricane Irma on their minds, with many of their friends and families in Florida. On the other hand, both teams will now play 16 straight weeks without a bye. As for fantasy owners, this is less than ideal given they will be without their first-round pick in many cases if they selected Jay Ajayi or Mike Evans. DeVante Parker, Jarvis Landry, Jameis Winston and Jacquizz Rodgers are among the other players you must make sure to take out of your Week 1 lineup.

Mariota plays well in Titans’ Week 1 loss to the Raiders.
Oakland limited DeMarco Murray to 3.7 yards per carry in the game, which didn’t help; but Mariota was 25/41 for 256 yards, along with three carries for 26 yards including a ten-yard touchdown run. Mariota threw the ball well to all areas of the field and converted a number of third downs, but a throw he’d like to have back was on a scramble where he threw the ball too low on a third down near midfield. The touchdown run came on a designed quarterback run where Delanie Walker threw a great block to basically allow his quarterback to walk into the end zone. Despite not putting up huge numbers through the air, Mariota still had a very good fantasy day. He has a difficult matchup against the Jaguars, who beat up the Texans this week, but Mariota has the look of a potential top-five fantasy QB and remains a QB1 for Week 2.

Ty Montgomery leaves Week 1 game with leg injury.
Montgomery limped off the field after a carry in the fourth quarter against Seattle. He is currently getting looked at by trainers on the sideline. The severity of the injury is unclear, but hopefully it’s not too bad and Montgomery ends up being fine. We’ll update you when more information becomes available.

Ameer Abdullah held in check against the Cardinals in Week 1.
Abdullah saw a team-high 15 carries, but turned them into just 30 yards. He also caught three passes for 11 yards. Behind Abdullah, Dwayne Washington and Theo Riddick combined for seven carries, so it’s clear who the lead back for Detroit is, and fantasy owners can take solace in the fact that he was given a carry near the goal line. Abdullah has another tough test against the Giants next week, but he remains a low-end RB2/FLEX option.

The Bucs/Dolphins game could be played in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, according to Jeremy Fowler.
Fowler says those two cities are “under consideration” for neutral sites if the Week 1 game is played this week. Of course, the Steelers and Eagles are on the road to open the season, and they must not have anything else scheduled in their stadiums for Sunday. It’s getting late and a decision by the NFL seems unlikely tonight, but it’s safe to assume there will be a decision sometime tomorrow so the teams know what they’re doing this week.

Matthew Stafford leads Lions to Week 1 victory over the Cardinals.
Stafford was 29/41 for 292 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception, also adding 14 yards and two rushes. The NFL’s highest-paid player really got hot in the second half, including a couple fourth-quarter scores to rookie Kenny Golladay. It was a great showing by Stafford, but one September game doesn’t suddenly put him in the upper echelon of quarterbacks. He faces a much tougher test in New York against the Giants on MNF for Week 2.
