Tom Brady should destroy the Jets after his quiet game last week… Drew Brees will be a lot better at home versus the Bucs than he was on the road… Ben Roethlisberger gets the Ravens on Christmas Day in a game that could determine the AFC North… Cam Newton looked good on Monday night and gets another good matchup this week… Russell Wilson has a tough matchup, but it is at home and the Cards were just shredded by Drew Brees… Matt Barkley is a good play in two-quarterback leagues; dude is putting up numbers… Former backups Matt Moore and Tom Savage are decent options for those desperate at the postion, but don’t expect Moore to throw for four touchdowns again.

  47. Duke Johnson (vs SD)
  48. Chris Tompson (@ CHI)
  49. Jalen Richard (vs IND)
  50. Matt Forte (@ NE)

Le’Veon Bell is the clear-cut #1 with David Johnson’s workload likely to be reduced and the Cardinals playing in Seattle… Jordan Howard has been unbelievable as a rookie and is a top-five play on Christmas Eve… Melvin Gordon (hip) needs to be in lineups against the Browns if he’s active… Even against the Vikings, Ty Montgomery is at worst a high-end RB2 after he exploded for 162 yards and two scores last week… Todd Gurley probably isn’t on many championship game rosters, but if he is, a game against the Niners is a good spot… Will Angry Mark Ingram get goal line carries this week? Hopefully… Don’t bet on Jay Ajayi going off against the Bills again… Also, don’t bet on Dion Lewis getting nearly 20 carries again; it was a one-week thing against Denver’s defense… If you have to play a Broncos running back, go with Justin Forsett on Christmas Night… Adrian Peterson always has a chance of breaking one, but they probably won’t push him too much after losing last week.

WIDE RECEIVER

  47. Marqise Lee (vs TEN)
  48. John Brown (@ SEA)
  49. Sterling Shepard (@ PHI)
  50. Travis Benjamin (@ CLE)

Antonio Brown scored three times on Thanksgiving. What will be do on Christmas?… Julio Jones (toe) had 300 yards in the first game against Carolina, so yeah, you’re gonna want him in your lineup if he’s active… Jordy Nelson has a good chance at finishing as the #1 overall fantasy wideout this season; pretty remarkable considering it’s his first year back from a torn ACL… Brandin Cooks has more of a chance at booming than busting at the Superdome… A.J. Green (hamstring) will be back as an immediate WR1 if he returns this week… DeAndre Hopkins gets a gigantic boost with Brock Osweiler out of the lineup. Consider him a WR2… Stefon Diggs completely dominated against the Packers all the way back in Week 2, so maybe he’ll have another big game… Basically all Patriot pass-catchers are good bets for production against the Jets… Brandon Marshall isn’t even ranked anymore; Robby Anderson is a better option.

TIGHT END

  1. Greg Olsen (vs ATL)
  2. Travis Kelce (vs DEN)
  3. Delanie Walker (@ JAC)
  4. Cameron Brate (@ NO)
  5. Kyle Rudolph (@ GB)
  6. Zach Ertz (vs NYG)

  11. Jimmy Graham (vs ARI)
  12. Eric Ebron (@ DAL)
  13. Coby Fleener (vs TB)
  14. Jared Cook (vs MIN)
  15. Antonio Gates (@ CLE)
  16. Vernon Davis (@ CHI)
  17. Dion Sims (@ BUF)
  18. Jack Doyle (@ OAK)
  19. Ryan Griffin (vs CIN)
  20. Jason Witten (vs DET)
  21. Dwayne Allen (@ OAK)
  22. Gary Barnidge (vs SD)
  23. Jordan Reed (@ CHI)
  24. C.J. Fiedorowicz (vs CIN)
  25. Dwayne Allen (@ OAK)

Unless you have Greg Olsen or Travis Kelce, you basically need to get lucky at tight end with the top-two options heading into the season either out for the season (Gronk) or injured but throwing punches in the middle of the game (Jordan Reed)… Zach Ertz seems to always produce at the end of the year, so he’s a solid option against the Giants on Thursday night… Charles Clay has come on over the past two weeks and facing his former team on Christmas Eve… Jimmy Graham and Tyler Eifert both have tough matchups and are out of the top-10.
