The week around Major League Baseball was headlined by a shocking move made on a future Hall of Famer.
The Angels released legend Albert Pujols, who signed a ten-year deal with the team in 2011.

My favorite Albert Pujols stat: he's the only player in MLB history with 3,000 hits, 600 homers and multiple World Series titles.

Two more no-hitters. John Means and Wade Miley each throw no-hitters, bringing season total to five already (four if you don’t count Madison Bumgarner’s seven-inning no-hitter).
The moment that will live in Orioles lore.

Wade Miley credited his son, Jeb, for the no-hitter good luck charm because he made him wear a "sticker Hulk tattoo" on his forearm before the game. pic.twitter.com/YGblO6aG2G

Mets ace Jacob deGrom leaves game with tightness, but is not expected to go on the IL.
The Mets are calling Jacob deGrom's injury "right side tightness," so apparently related to his lat issue.
The team says he departed "for precautionary reasons."

NEWS: Jacob deGrom’s initial prognosis is good, after he left Sunday’s start early due to tightness in his right side. After an MRI, the #Mets are optimistic that, while deGrom’s next start could be delayed, a stay on the IL likely won’t be necessary. @MLB @MLBNetwork

Yankees and Astros renew rivalry, playing each other for the first time since Houston’s cheating scandal emerged.
Carlos Correa on another lackluster night for the Astros:
“The Yankees allowed fans to personally attack me and, more importantly, one of the best men on the planet, Jose,” an emotional Correa said after the loss nearly in tears. “New York is classless. MLB needs to step in.” pic.twitter.com/azcivKTDtt
