Strengths
Prototype size on the blindside. Good length and big hands. Great overall athlete. Very powerful upper body. Strong when using length to push defenders around. Punches are accurate. Excellent acceleration to get out in space. Bulldozer when he gets a head of steam. Gets good movement as a run blocker at the point of attack. Plus awareness in pass protection. Anchors down and holds up against power. Keeps a wide base and is a lot to get around for pass rushers. Always hustles to get in on the action. Plays with desired football demeanor. Very high character off the field. Donated bone barrow to his sister prior to final season (seemed to have impact, particularly as a run blocker).
Weaknesses
Overall technique needs improvement. Would like to see more engaging rather than pushing. Pass sets are too slow versus speed. Loses form when he tries speeding up pass sets. A little stiff for a player with his skillset. Balance is just OK. Will sometimes lean forward and lunge. Can be slow to react inside.

Conclusion
Overall, Jackson needs some polishing, but the natural tools are there for him to be a very good left tackle, and his overall character should be considered as a positive factor for teams. I think potentially needing a year to develop could make Jackson a better value on Day 2 in a strong class.
