The Dolphins are signing Jordan Scarlett to a futures deal.
Scarlett—who was a standout player in college for the Florida Gators—will hope to make an impression and stick around over the next several months and into next season. We would think Miami is a definite candidate to select a running back somewhat early in April's draft.

The Panthers waived Jordan Scarlett.
The 2019 fifth-round pick played in nine games for Carolina before landing on injured reserve last season. Scarlett shouldn't have much trouble finding a new landing spot.

The Panthers have selected Florida running back Jordan Scarlett in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Scarlett worked in a committee during his college career with the Gators, averaging 5.4 yards per carry with 12 touchdowns. Carolina is looking for someone to seize the backup running back role behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey, and Scarlett will look to compete for that role in 2019 and beyond.
