Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) was officially a full participant in today's practice.

Fant was limited to start the week, so this is a strong indication that his ankle close to full strength after he missed one game due to the injury. We expect Fant will be good to go for Sunday agains the Chiefs, but we'll let you know if he's listed on the final Week 7 injury report when it's out tomorrow.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) is out for Week 6.

Fant seemed to be trending in the right direction to play, but he is not traveling with the team to New England and is going to miss at least one more week. For those that need help at tight end, one of the Indianapolis (Trey Burton/Jack Doyle) or Minnesota (Kyle Rudolph/Irv Smith Jr.) options are worth looking into.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Fant was able to get on the practice field this week, so hopefully he’s able to suit up against the Patriots. The Broncos are currently scheduled to kickoff at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, so Fant’s status will be known that morning assuming the game remains on.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) was officially limited in today's practice.

This is a good start to the week for Fant as he looks to get on the field without missing any games because of the COVID-forced schedule changes. Fant is said to be dealing with a "minor" ankle issue.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 5.

Fant is considered week-to-week, so he maybe end up missing multiple games with his ankle injury. The Broncos will likely lean mostly on Jake Butt at tight end, though he’s not a recommended fantasy plays against the Patriots.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) is considered week-to-week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter had reported that Fant's ankle injury was "minor", but that doesn't appear to be the case. Schefter says Fant is expected to be out for Week 5 against the Patriots and will be considered week-to-week. Those with Fant on their roster should obviously try to hold him on the bench if possible.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant's ankle injury is considered "minor", according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Fant was able to walk off the field under his own power, and we didn't even notice that he had left the game because he didn't limp badly or lay on the turf until trainers came, so this was the expectation. Fant probably has a pretty good chance to be ready for Week 5 against the Patriots with about ten days to rest.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight.

We're in the fourth quarter, but it's a one possession game, so not ideal that Fant is done for the night. Hopefully the mini bye week allows Fant time to recover for Week 5, but more information on his status should become available in the coming hours and days.

Noah Fant gets carted to the locker room.

Fant took a hit to the leg area on a reception deep in Jets territory, and he's officially being called questionable to return with an ankle injury. Hopefully Fant is just being carted to the locker room as a precaution, as he was able to get off the field under his own power.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (shoulder) has returned for the Broncos.

It's good to see the rookie tight end back in the game, and he'll look to build on his long 43-yard reception from earlier in the game.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (shoulder) is officially questionable to return for the Broncos.

Fant already has a 43-yard reception against the Chiefs, and Denver could really use him as they try to pull off an upset. We'll update you as more information becomes available on the rookie tight end's status.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (hip/foot) is officially active for Week 15.

Fant is a bit banged up late in his rookie season, but he’s playing in today’s snowy matchup at Arrowhead Stadium. Fant is a strong TE2 option with upside.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant has 100-yard game in win over the Texans.

Denver's first-round pick caught a 14-yard score in the first quarter on the team's opening possession, which began with a 48 yard catch-and-run by Fant, who also had chunk gains of 28 and 23. It was the second time the rookie has been over the century mark since the start of November, and his dynasty arrow is pointing way up with a 35/492/3 line through 13 games. If Fant (foot) is good to go next week in Kansas City, he will be an upside TE2 option.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant (ankle) will be ready for Week 1, according to Tom Pelissero.

The injury didn't look serious on Monday night, but this is still excellent news coming from head coach Vic Fangio. Fant has a ton of upside as a receiver, but his effectiveness as a blocker is what should really excite fantasy owners because it will keep him on the field for an offense that will use plenty of play-action and misdirection to get the rookie in space. The No. 20 overall pick looks like a low-end TE2 option with upside for more.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

Noah Fant left tonight's preseason game with a foot injury.

ESPN's Lisa Salters said on the broadcast that the injury Fant suffered in the first half was a foot injury. It looked like Fant was sort of rolled up on and appeared to be holding his knee area, but apparently it's a foot. The rookie tight end is currently sitting on the bench and looks to be in fine spirits, so hopefully he's OK. Fant worked as a clear starter with quarterback Joe Flacco on the first-team offense tonight.

Noah Fant | Broncos TE

The Broncos select Iowa tight end Noah Fant with the No. 20 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Broncos general manager and president John Elway tweeted that Fant "is an incredibly gifted and athletic tight end. He’s got great speed and he can really stretch the field. We’re very fortunate to get him at 20." You can read our full scouting report on Fant in the link below, but Elway's tweet describes the Iowa tight end well. Fant can stretch the field and will be a reliable target for Joe Flacco on deep and intermediate routes, and he'll likely immediately step in as the top tight end on the depth chart. With Flacco's willingness to target tight ends, Fant could deliver solid fantasy value as a rookie in 2019.
