Riley Ridley | Bears WR

Bears wide receivers coach Mike Furrey is excited about Riley Ridley.

As a rookie last season, Ridley (a fourth-round selection and the brother of Falcons receiver and former first-round pick Calvin Ridley) didn't get time on offense until late in the year, but Furrey says Riley "now has the confidence he can play in the NFL." Furrey told the Chicago Sun-Times that Ridley has "the passion... to become successful in this game." The Bears have a deep receiving corps that includes fellow Georgia product Javon Wims, but Ridley will look to carve out a sizable role behind Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller in 2020.

Riley Ridley | Bears WR

The Bears have selected Georgia wide receiver Riley Ridley with the No. 126 pick (fourth round) in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Perhaps the smoothest route runner in this year’s class, Ridley is the younger brother of Calvin Ridley, but he is more of a possession receiver than dynamic deep threat. While the numbers weren’t eye-popping for a run-first Georgia team, Ridley caught nine scores as a junior, and he should be a more productive pro than college player. In Chiago, Ridley will start off as the No. 3 or No. 4 receiver, but unless injuries strike, he probably won’t be worth considering as anything more than a late-round flier in redraft leagues this season.
