The Seahawks are extending Tyler Lockett.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Lockett is getting a four-year, $69.2 million extension with $37 million guaranteed. This pays Lockett top-ten receiver money, which is somewhat of a surprise, but expect salaries to continue rising in the coming years as the salary cap increases following the NFL's new media agreement. Lockett has gone over 1,000 yards in each of the past two seasons, and he's coming off his first career 100-reception campaign in 2020. Also, Lockett has caught 28 touchdowns over the past three seasons, playing well above his size as he did dating back to his days at Kansas State. Seattle is obviously going to expect more strong, consistent production like they've been getting from their former third-round pick moving forward.
Tyler Lockett (knee) is officially active for Week 11.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said yesterday that Lockett would be to go tonight, and now it's official. He's banged up, but it's tough to leave Lockett out of fantasy lineups against the Cardinals after he went for 200 yards in the first matchup between the two teams this season.
Tyler Lockett (knee, questionable) will play tomorrow night.
Head coach Pete Carroll says that Lockett will suit up despite the injury designation, but it's pretty clear he will be at less than 100% after getting injured last week. That said, Lockett absolutely destroyed Arizona in the last meeting with 15 receptions, 200 yards, and three touchdowns, so he could again be the focal point on offense with D.K. Metcalf being shadowed by Patrick Peterson.
Tyler Lockett is off the Week 12 injury report.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Lockett would play against the Eagles this Sunday, and now it’s official. As usual, the dynamic receiver is a must-start for Week 12.
Tyler Lockett (shin) was officially a limited participant in today's practice.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll had said Lockett won't practice today with his leg injury, but he did say he believes he'll play on Sunday. With Lockett already practicing to start the week, it would be a big surprise if he's not ready for the Week 12 matchup against the Eagles. We'll let you know if anything changes when the final injury report is released on Friday, but you should be able to safely insert Lockett into your lineup as a very good Week 12 option.
Tyler Lockett will stay in the hospital another night.
Lockett is staying in California at the hospital for precautionary reasons because of the swelling in his leg, but Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says he expects Lockett to play when the team returns to action in Week 12. We hope Lockett is feeling better and can get back home soon.
Tyler Lockett (leg) is expected to be OK.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was on the radio and said he thought Lockett would be OK, but NFL Network's Tom Pelissero adds that he's been told Lockett was dealing with "a very bad bruise that swelled a lot." The major swelling caused concern last night, which landed Lockett in the hospital, but thankfully it sounds like he'll be just fine. The Seahawks have a Week 11 bye before facing the Eagles on November 24, and we expect Lockett will be fine for that matchup.
Tyler Lockett was hospitalized last night.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says that Lockett had a lot of swelling in his lower leg and was being examined for it, adding that it has a "compartment element" that had to be checked out immediately. So it sounds like this injury can indeed be serious for Lockett, but hopefully everything works out fine. The Seahawks are now on their bye week after last night's big win, so Lockett might not miss any time with this leg issue. More information should become available soon.
Tyler Lockett has a lower leg injury.
Lockett's injury doesn't appear to be serious, but he's sitting on the sideline without his helmet in overtime and does not appear likely to return. It's a peculiar situation considering Lockett just was back at kickoff at the end of regulation before not appearing in overtime. Before leaving, the dynamic receiver had three receptions for 26 yards.
Tyler Lockett goes off in Seahawks' Week 9 win.
Lockett caught 13 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns in Seattle's overtime victory over Tampa Bay, as the Bucs secondary simply could not cover him. Emerging as Russell Wilson's (378 yards, five touchdowns in the Week 9 win) clear top target this year, Lockett has already set a career-high in receptions, and he's going to coast to his first 1,000-yard season if he remains healthy. The 27-year-old isn't a prototypical size for a receiver, but he's clearly become one of the league's best at his position. Lockett should offer a great combination of floor and upside in Week 10 fantasy lineups, even in a tough matchup with the 49ers.
Tyler Lockett is not on the Week 2 injury report.
Lockett missed some practice time this week with a back issue, but he's ready to go for Sunday at Pittsburgh. You can safely insert Lockett into your fantasy lineup as a high upside option after Phillip Dorsett went for 95 yards and two touchdowns on the Steelers last week.
Tyler Lockett (back) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Lockett missed yesterday’s practice, so this is a step in the right direction. The dynamic receiver is expected to be good to go for Sunday against the Steelers, but check back in tomorrow for his official Week 2 status.
Tyler Lockett caught four passes for 120 yards in Saturday night's loss to the Cowboys.
Lockett made a few big plays for Seattle—including a 52-yard kick return and a 53-yard catch on the team's final offensive possession—but it wasn't enough to advance. Still, Lockett had a sensational 2018 campaign, setting career-highs across the board in the regular season as he and Russell Wilson emerged as one of the league's best connections. The former Kansas State star will deserve WR2 consideration in fantasy drafts later this year.
Tyler Lockett scores again to close out the regular season.
Lockett caught two passes for 66 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for three yards in Seattle's win over Arizona. The breakout season for Lockett ends with 57 receptions for 965 yards and ten touchdowns along with 13 carries for 69 yards. Lockett has been a solid player since entering the league, but this season he really emerged as one of the better receivers in the NFL. The fourth-year receiver was the No. 11 fantasy receiver in points scored (standard scoring), so he was one of the best late-round selections in 2018 drafts. Lockett will be among the best big-play threats in the postseason, starting this Saturday night at Dallas.
Tyler Lockett caught four passes for 99 yards in Sunday night's win over the Chiefs.
Lockett was officially targeted five times, but he also drew a couple long pass interference penalties. The former third-round pick needs 101 yards next Sunday to reach 1,000 for the first time in his career, so we'll see if that's a secondary goal for Seattle in a game they should handle against Arizona—though it's certainly worth noting that Patrick Peterson will likely see Lockett for the most part. He will be a FLEX option.
Tyler Lockett caught two passes for 45 yards in Sunday's loss to the Niners.
He also rushed once for 11 yards. Lockett probably didn't get enough opportunities, as he brought in both of his targets, and Seattle's offense stalled at times. The speedy receiver gets a prime bounce back spot against the Chiefs next week for a potential shootout, so his case as a low-end WR2 should be stronger than usual.
Tyler Lockett caught five passes for 42 yards in Monday night's win over Minnesota.
He also rushed twice for a loss of three yards. The Seahawks didn't get much from their wideouts on a night where Russell Wilson completed just ten passes for 72 yards, so Lockett probably did well to put up the modest numbers he did. The 26-year-old will look to get behind the defense again next week against the 49ers, but he is better viewed as a FLEX than WR2.
Tyler Lockett catches 52-yard touchdown in Week 13 victory.
It was his only catch of the game, but Lockett also added a ten-yard rush. While the game script obviously didn't help in a 43-16 win, things should be a lot closer to start the fantasy playoffs against the Vikings. Consider Lockett a quality FLEX in a more difficult matchup.
Tyler Lockett scores again in Week 12.
Lockett caught five passes (on five targets) for 107 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for -2 yards against the Panthers. The score was a 12-yarder on a deep curl where Lockett made a nice catch while going to the ground at the front of the end zone. Lockett also had a 43-yard reception on a deep ball in the win. Lockett is now up to eight touchdowns this season, and he has just three games without a score. The Kansas State great remains a solid FLEX option for Week 13 against the Niners.
Tyler Lockett plays well in Seahawks' win.
Lockett was quiet for most of the game against the Packers, but he came up big late in the game to help the Seahawks pull off a big win to get to 5-5. Lockett had one carry for one yards and caught five passes (on five targets) for 71 yards, including a 34-yard reception on Seattle's go-ahead touchdown drive; it was a sliding reception, but luckily the Packers did not challenge the play, as it certainly looked like one replay angle showed the ball hit the ground and moved. Nevertheless, it was a nice showing for Lockett and a solid day for fantasy owners. He'll look to make more big plays against the Panthers next Sunday.
Tyler Lockett scores in Seahawks' loss.
Lockett caught five passes for 67 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for 18 yards against the Rams. The score was a 23-yarder on a deep ball where he went up and made a nice catch in tight coverage. He also had another long reception of 29 yards. Lockett is now up to seven touchdown receptions this season, and he's in the FLEX mix for Week 11 against the Packers.
Tyler Lockett catches three passes against the Chargers.
Lockett gained 22 yards in the Week 9 loss, snapping his streak of three straight games with a touchdown. Through eight games, Lockett is on pace for 56 receptions, 832 yards, and 12 touchdowns, which would set career-highs across the board for the Kansas State great. Next up, Lockett faces a Rams team he had a 3/98/1 line against in Week 5.
Tyler Lockett scores again in Week 8.
Lockett caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown against the Lions, with the score coming on a 24-yard corner route. This makes it three straight weeks with a touchdown for Lockett, who has a score in six-of-seven games this season. The fourth-year receiver will look to keep it going next week against the Chargers, and he's a FLEX option for Week 9.
Tyler Lockett scores in Seahawks' win.
Lockett caught three passes for 13 yards and a touchdown and added one carry for seven yards in the win across the pond. On the score, Lockett made himself available and went up for the ball after Russell Wilson stepped up in the pocket and gave him a chance to make a play. Lockett is up to five touchdowns on the season, and this was his first game being held under 50 yards receiving. The fourth-year receiver will be a FLEX option coming off next week's bye.
Tyler Lockett caught three passes for 53 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
Lockett led the team in receiving on a day where Russell Wilson threw for just 172 yards, but it was enough to defeat Arizona on a last-second field goal. The former third-round pick has been very steady to start the year, and at the season's quarter mark, he is on pace for 68 receptions, 996 yards, and 12 touchdowns. Lockett could benefit from Doug Baldwin now in the lineup heading into next Sunday's matchup with the Rams, as he might avoid Marcus Peters. Consider the 26-year-old a quality FLEX option in all leagues.
Tyler Lockett catches long touchdown in Week 3.
Lockett caught a 52-yard touchdown late in the first half for the Seahawks, as Russell Wilson hit him in stride down the right sideline for six. Overall, Lockett had four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for five yards. Lockett has at least 59 yards and a score in each of his first three games this season, and he is a FLEX option for Week 4 against the Cardinals.
Tyler Lockett scores in Seahawks' loss.
Lockett led Seattle in all main receiving categories against the Bears, catching five-of-seven targets for 60 yards and a touchdown. The score was a 20-yarder in which he made a solid catch in traffic on a perfect pass from Russell Wilson to the back corner of the end zone. With Doug Baldwin (knee) likely out for Week 3 against the Cowboys, Lockett has some FLEX appeal as Wilson's No. 1 receiver.
Tyler Lockett catches long touchdown in Week 1 loss.
Lockett was targeted four times by Russell Wilson against the Broncos, catching three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown. The score was a 51-yard deep ball where Lockett ran a route deep down the field that he broke off to the corner to get wide-open for six. Lockett might become Wilson's primary target if Doug Baldwin (knees) misses time.
The Seahawks have signed wide receiver Tyler Lockett to a three-year extension, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Garafolo says the extension gives Lockett $20 million guaranteed, with a base value of $31.8 million and a max value of $37.8 million. This is a very good contract for Lockett, who the Seahawks must expect to be a huge part of the offense in 2018 and beyond given they are paying him like a top-25 receiver. Another year removed from his broken leg suffered on Christmas Eve 2016 and with a new contract that comes with high expectations, Lockett is one of the better late-round selections in fantasy drafts.
Tyler Lockett is sitting tomorrow's preseason game because of a toe issue.
Lockett sitting is not related to when he was kicked in the shin the other day in practice, but Bob Condatta of the Seattle Times says the toe issue "doesn't sound like a big deal." Hopefully Lockett is ready to go for next week's dress rehearsal game. In the meantime, other receivers will get valuable reps tomorrow night.
Tyler Lockett will not play in tomorrow's preseason game against the Chargers.
Lockett had an injury scare in practice the other day, but it isn't anything serious. Still, the Seahawks are being precautious by holding Lockett out tomorrow night. Expect Lockett to suit up in next week's third preseason game versus Minnesota.
Tyler Lockett says he was probably at "about 75, 80 percent" health last season.
Entering last season, Lockett was coming off a broken leg from Christmas Eve 2016, and those lower leg injuries can take a lot of time to get back to 100%—which could explain subpar seasons from Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota, who also broken their legs on Christmas Eve 2016, last year. The good news is Lockett is back to 100% now, and he fully participated in offseason training with the Seahawks. Lockett is a clear top-three receiver for Seattle, and he could be the no-doubt number two option behind Doug Baldwin depending on how veteran receiver Brandon Marshall pans out. Lockett will be someone to watch throughout the preseason.
Tyler Lockett returns a kick for a touchdown in Week 17.
Lockett took the kick 99 yards to the house for Seattle, and he also added three receptions for 25 yards on offense. The third-year receiver had a 45/555/2 line this season, but he is coming off a broken leg from the end of last season. Perhaps he'll be more explosive in 2018 another year removed from the injury.
Tyler Lockett catches two passes in Week 15.
Lockett gained only eight yards on his two receptions, as the entire Seattle offense struggled. Though a good player for the Seahawks, it's difficult to trust Lockett in fantasy lineups.
Tyler Lockett gets behind the defense in Week 14 loss.
Lockett caught four passes for 90 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter as Seattle nearly came back down 24-10. He also rushed once for 10 yards. Lockett will look to get deep against the Rams in a huge matchup for first place in the division next Sunday, but he was held to just 26 yards in their first meeting. He's just a high-upside, low-floor FLEX option.
Tyler Lockett scores against the Eagles.
Lockett was targeted twice in the Week 13 victory, gaining 17 yards with a touchdown in the game. The score came on a crossing route from one side of the field to the other, and he got wide open in the end zone after navigating some traffic. Lockett will be a big part of a potential playoff run for the Seahawks, but his role doesn't equate to him being a reliable fantasy option at the moment.
Tyler Lockett gets one touch in Week 12.
Lockett gained two yards on one carry and had no receptions against the 49ers. He might be able to get deep against the Eagles next week, but Lockett is risky in fantasy lineups.
Tyler Lockett gets five targets versus Atlanta.
Lockett caught four passes for 37 yards in the Monday night loss, and he also put Seattle in great field position all night, averaging 39.4 yards per return on five returns. He's not a highly-reccomended FLEX option at the moment.
Tyler Lockett catches one pass versus Arizona.
Lockett gained 16 yards on his lone reception in Seattle's Thursday night Week 10 victory. He was targeted on a deep ball, but it was broken up on what was close to defensive pass interference. Lockett might do some more damage in a potential Week 11 shootout with the Falcons.
Tyler Lockett catches two passes against the Redskins.
Lockett was targeted eight times in the game, but he only hauled in two receptions for ten yards. Look for him to do more damage on Thursday night against the Cardinals. Through eight games, the third-year receiver is on pace for 56 receptions for 710 yards and no touchdowns, along with 14 carries for 88 yards.
Tyler Lockett goes over 120 yards in Seahawks' win.
Lockett was one of the many players that came up clutch in a shootout with the Texans. The third-year receiver caught six of eight targets for a team-high 121 yards, including a long of 54 yards, in the Week 8 victory. Lockett will try to build off his best game of the season next week against the Redskins.
Tyler Lockett gets seven touches in Seahawks' win.
Lockett caught four of seven targets for 29 yards and carried three times for 15 yards against the Giants. He was targeted on a deep pass in the end zone where he took a big hit and was down for a few minutes, but he returned to the game very quickly. Lockett is a very good weapon for Seattle, but he's not a recommended fantasy option right now.
Tyler Lockett gets four touches in Week 5.
Lockett caught three of four targets for 26 yards and added a seven-yard reception in the game. This was a defensive battle against the Rams, and the Seahawks will look to get things going again in Week 7 against the Giants.
Tyler Lockett totals 91 yards in win over the Colts.
Lockett led the team in receiving with four catches for 67 yards, and he also rushed twice for 24 yards. The dynamic weapon is on pace for 772 yards from scrimmage and no touchdowns, and there are just too many weapons to be a reliable and consistent fantasy contributor. The Seahawks take on the Rams in Week 5.
Tyler Lockett catches two of three targets in loss to the Titans.
The third-year receiver picked up 30 yards on his two receptions. He's worth a bench hold, but he's not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.
Tyler Lockett leads Seahawks in receiving in Week 2.
Lockett looked like his healthy self, catching six of nine targets for 64 yards, including a long of 22 yards. Considering the passing offense struggled, it was a solid game for Lockett. The Titans in Week 3 are not an easy matchup, but Lockett is worth FLEX consideration if you're struggling with injuries.
Tyler Lockett catches one pass in Week 1.
Lockett caught one-of-three targets for eight yards in the game, but Russell Wilson missed him on a deep ball that would've been a long touchdown after Lockett beat the corner deep. The third-year receiver also, as promised by Pete Carroll, worked as the team's returner and had a 43-yard kick return in the game. Lockett has boom potential in any given week, but he's best left out of fantasy lineups for now.
Tyler Lockett (knee) will play Sunday against Green Bay.
Lockett was a full participant in practice all week and will play in the game despite being listed as questionable, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said. The third-year receiver will return punts for Seattle, and he'll be the number three receiver. Lockett might end up having a great day, but there are options you can have more faith in putting into your fantasy lineup for Week 1.
Tyler Lockett is not playing in tonight's preseason game against the Chiefs.
Lockett participated fully in team warmups, but the Seahawks aren't putting him out there in the exhibition. Lockett probably won't be playing in Week 4 of the preseason either as the focus is on keeping him 100% for the start of the regular season.
Tyler Lockett isn't playing in Seattle's Week 2 preseason game against the Vikings.
Lockett has been practicing for about two weeks after being removed from the PUP, but the Seahawks aren't rushing him as he is coming back from a broken leg in Week 16 of last season. Fellow receiver Paul Richardson, who also practiced during the week, also isn't playing after he hurt his shoulder in last Sunday's preseason game against the Chargers.
Tyler Lockett was removed from the PUP list.
Pete Carroll said it would be a very short stay for Lockett on the PUP, and it was. The third-year receiver practiced today and said he feels like he could play in a game if there was one tomorrow. Lockett might be able to play in the team's first preseason game next week, though they might decide to hold him out and wait until Week 2 of the preseason. He's currently going at the very end of fantasy drafts, but his ADP could rise in the next few weeks before the time most people draft.
The Seahawks placed Tyler Lockett on the PUP list.
Lockett, who is recovering from a broken leg at the end of last regular season, didn't pass his physical. Head coach Pete Carroll believes it will be a "very short stay" for Lockett on the PUP, so that's a good sign. He can be taken off the PUP and practice at any time. The electric third-year receiver does have seven receiving touchdowns through two seasons, but he's looking to breakout in 2017.
Tyler Lockett said on SiriusXM NFL that he could be back for training camp.
Lockett said he's training for Week 1. He's recovery from his broken leg sustained on Christmas Eve last year. Lockett was on the field for OTAs, but it apparently was just him being out there on a limited basis. He should be full-go at some point during training camp, if not for the beginning.
Tyler Lockett appears to be participating in Seahawks activities.
The Seahawks tweeted out a picture of Lockett catching a pass, and he looked to be practicing like normal. There's been no official word, but the thought was to get Lockett ready for training camp and OTAs would be a plus. It's looking like Lockett is good and going, which is great to see. He'll be Russell Wilson's primary deep threat this season.
Tyler Lockett said he wants to and expects to be ready for training camp, according to Sheil Kapadia.
Of course, Lockett suffered a bad broken leg (fractured tibia and fibula) on Christmas Eve last year. Lockett is "itching to get back" even before training camp. He's certainly attacking his rehab and healing up, but the Seahawks are likely to take it slow with Lockett. We'll see if the Seahawks let him give it a go at the start of training camp.
Tyler Lockett suffered a broken tibia and fibula.
He's out for the season, but apparently no ligaments were damaged and Lockett should be fine well before training camp—and hopefully OTAs. Lockett was really coming on strong towards the end of the year, and he will be a solid breakout pick in 2017 fantasy drafts.
Tyler Lockett suffers potentially serious ankle/leg injury.
Lockett's leg got rolled up on near the goal line on a deep ball from Russell Wilson. Without speculating too much, it did appear that his ankle went the wrong way and there was an air cast brought out for Lockett. He did hang on to the ball somehow, but was ruled down at the 1-yard line after review. Assuming he's done for the year, this is a huge loss for Seattle as Lockett was coming on strong here like expected at the beginning of the year. He had two catches for 38 yards before exiting.
Tyler Lockett puts up 130 yards on the Rams.
Lockett had seven catches for 130 yards and a touchdown. He started the game off very quickly, getting up to four catches and over 52 yards early in the game. He remained a consistent target for Russell Wilson and received Wilson's last touchdown of the game with a 57-yard deep ball where Lockett easily got behind the defense. This is what many people expected from Lockett coming into this season. It might be tough to keep it going against the Cardinals next week, but Lockett isn't a bad FLEX option.
Tyler Lockett caught four passes for 41 yards in the Seahawks' loss to the Packers on Sunday.
He also rushed twice for 15 yards. Lockett can make some noise with the ball in his hands, but isn't a good fantasy option. He gets the Rams in Week 15 on TNF.
Tyler Lockett breaks out for over 125 yards against the Panthers.
This is what people were waiting for when they drafted Lockett this season. He is definitely close to 100% now and showed it last night. He had five catches for 63 yards and took a jet sweep 75 yards to the house on his only carry. Lockett is a decent FLEX option next week against the Packers defense. He's worth an add if he's available.
Lockett fails to bring in any of his six targets in Week 12.
The Seahawks offense was really out of sync in this game. Wilson just overthrew Lockett on a deep ball that would've likely been a touchdown. Lockett has not broken out like many people expected coming into the year, but he could have a good game this week against the Panthers secondary. He's a FLEX option, but hopefully you can do better in your lineup.
Tyler Lockett makes an impact on offense against Patriots.
Lockett had three catches for 72 yards. It was his best game since Week 2. He appears to be getting to 100% health. Lockett was a popular breakout pick, but hasn't panned out as such. There is still time for him to turn it around and this game was a good start. Lockett is worth a pickup if he's available, and is worth playing this week as a FLEX if you need some help; the Eagles secondary is beatable.
